What is in the 1851 Census?

· Over 17 million searchable names

What’s next for our UK census collection?

We are now offering six of the seven available decades. With the addition of the 1841 UK census next year, our UK census collection will be complete. 1841 was the first census that was officially preserved. Prior to 1841, the census returns were simply numerical counts with little detailed information.
